Country context refers to identifying the sociological and economic structures of a particular country in terms of development.
It indicates the social structure that determines how an individual interacts and the way they deal with the changes that take place in society. It also indicates the economic structure that focuses on the income, employment and balance of output in a particular country.
The laws and policies :
Eastern Europe and Central Asia mainly focus on the economy, health ,the people in the society and interaction. The laws are based on the growth and development of the country. They are various laws and policies which are focused on the budget to improve the countries economy. Policies are related to environmental problems, health, labour laws, abortion, family policies which are all focused on the overall development of an individual in the society.
Stigma and discrimination :
Mental health issues hurt the life of the European citizens, poor mental health us often faced by the citizens with the high economic cost of treatment. People with mental health problems face a lot of discrimination. The stigma related to mental health issues often holds back an individual facing mental health issues to seek treatment. Some policies indicated that mental health is often seen as a low priority which lays back an individual. The community believes that a person who is affected with a mental illness cannot be cured by health care, and instead follow alternative medicines. The individual is treated unfairly in society. This affects the economical growth of the country as well.
Violence :
Violence against women is often seen, which results in physical or psychological harm including threats. And the majority of the violence is left unseen and unreported. There are many polices and laws against violence developed by the country which provide support to the victim and ensure that women and children are given equal rights and are made free from violence.
Expenditure :
This involves health care services to the public to make sure that proper health facilities are made available to the people who require immediate health care ,family planning services are often essential to maintain the health needs of an individual, activities related to the improvement of nutrition especially in children and women and emergency services to be made available to avoid life-threatening issues.
Prevention of AIDS:
HIV AIDS is recognized as an emergency which has to be treated immediately and measures to prevent the spread are also followed .The highly active antiretroviral therapy plays a major role in the treatment of HIV infected person which helps them to lead a normal life. There are many strategies which can be followed to prevent AIDS. HIV AIDS surveillance followed by Europeans and Asian countries enhanced the early detection, prevention, treatment and promotion of health.
