spaces, environments, and materials, answer the following
questions:
Roxaboxen was a picture book by Alice mclarren
The environment in Roxaboxen was nothing compared to the cities
but had rocky hills , sand, old wodden boxes, and there was also a
river.
The children in Roxaboxen were happy playing in a environment ,
They used to play treasure hunting and find pebbles , and there
were a lot of kids in the environment too.
The children's have access to everything possible
everyone had a car, (just a round wheel) They had plenty of money, and plenty of shops, they could eat and everything from icecreams to cakes ,bread and pies.
Free time given to the kids, during summers were more compared
to the times they had classes and school. They did obviously have a
plenty of time. They built houses and collected stones and had a
really fun time.
This space creates a sense of creativity and belongings to the
children because it was all about using ones imagination to create
something out of nothing.
In the pictures, the kid used rocks, sand, sticks, and other
objects to make a whole little town and called it Roxaboxen.
They even had jobs , and acted like they rode horses.
They had a great war among the boys and girls.
No, kids now are not given as much time to explore or to spend
time outside like older generations.
Because at this generation everything is accessible online.
Kids are also not allowed to explore environments and spaces
without adult intervention nowadays.
spaces, environment and materials are very important to supporting the development of a young child because that Is how they learn, learn about ideas, learn about creativity, learn and have the ability to understand perspectives of life, human to human interactions and spaces are becoming really low these days. Kids need to play, and their own space, meet new friends, talk to them, play with them. That is supposed to be a good child hood. It supports the development of the children both emotionally and physically.
