Down to earth employee means employees who are working at lower level or at lower posts of the company. They have an important role in establishing and maintaining an ethical tone and company culture. It can be explaines as follows-

1. Lower level employees are properly guided by top management commitment in relation to establishing and maintaining an ethical tone and company culture. For this purpose some commitments are followed by lower level employees for the betterment of the organisation in respect to ethical behaviour among them, as well as to customers.

2. Lower level employees have to follow particular code of conduct. These codes of conduct are directly related to Ethics and use in selling and marketing activities.

3 To maintain culture of the company, lower level imployees have to follow ethical standards and suitable mechanism which should be established by a company. It insures that actual decisions are matching with ethical standards of behaviour and culture.

4.The employees of the company are free to report about the matters of unethical behaviour in the organisation to maintain culture of the company.

5. Lower level employees are involved in formation of ethical policies after discussion with them. Their attitude towards these ethical policies is examined time to time.

Although it is very difficult to measure the ethical result by lower-level employees, yet these employees are playing a vital role in the ethical behaviour and culture of the company.
