Overall what is the overlap between the Network Solutions and the ideal PM system? Describe the gap? Is there an ideal or perfect PM system? What is the goal of a PM system?
* Overlap between the network solutions and ideal PM system includes, their employee's goals with the organization's goals, standardization of the performance management system at allthe divisions, developing program to enhance productivity, free flow of effective 2 way communication, effective rating mechanism, and rectification of policies and standards.
* In certain cases individual tend to focus more on standard measures rather than performance, seeking ways to meet targets but poor quality output can prevail, high incentives will motivate for some time.
* a perfect PM system will have standardization, validity and conciseness, unbiased rewards, proper training for wvaluators, due process, and legal constraint. If an organisation has these features or ideals then it is said to have perfect PM system.
* Goals of a PM system are, improving performance of employees, management and overall organisation. It aims to have proper documentation of every individual's performance and detailed records, pay system and other performance intervention, job effectiveness, to provide efficient information service and to manage workforce efficiently.
