1) Symptomatic people

  • COVID-19 is primarily transmitted from symptomatic people to others
  • It is transmitted through respiratory droplets, by direct contact with infected persons, or by contact with contaminated objects and surfaces.

2) Heart, Lungs, Brain, Intestines, Spleen, Kidneys

  • Covid 19 most commonly affects the respiratory system.
  • However, the virus can affect any organ in the body.
  • Multiple organs may be affected, especially in the case of critically ill and vulnerable group of patients.
  • The virus binds to angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptors present in vascular endothelial cells, lungs, heart, brain, kidneys, intestine, liver, pharynx, and other tissue. It can directly injure these organs.
  • In the heart it can cause acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure, myocarditis, and arrhythmias. Kidney injury is usually secondary to systemic abnormalities.

3) To determine the role of generational support in disease outcome.

  • Covid 19 impacts on each generation.
  • While COVID-19 can infect anyone, the risk of severe illness increases with age
  • The age and ageism are the broader aspect of covid 19.
  • It helps to assess the covid 19 in different age groups and the symptoms and complications of different generation. And also the disease outcome in different generations.
