While meeting the new employees I would like to explain them on the importance of customer service for ensuring performance in the insurance filed. The customers are valuable for us and we should treat them well to be successful in career. I would explain them how bad customer service can affect the organization and the employees. The customers would be ready to purchase our product only if we successfully demonstrate the features of the product and convince the customer in a polite manner. We should understand the customer requirement properly and suggest the appropriate product. We can also try consolidating the insurance products and provide the desired value for the customer. But while taking all these efforts we should remember that our product provides long term care and we need the customer support throughout our journey. Service the sale is very important to retain the customers and make new customers. Many insurance companies are facing customer turnover due to poor customer service after sales. The customers would approach us for many reasons including document updating and issues regarding claims. We should be able to address the issues properly and satisfy their needs. Else it will lead to customer dissatisfaction and business loss. We cannot sustain in the market without the support from our existing customers and hence each of the sales executive should understand the importance of customers while giving commitments to them. The executives should ensure to commit things that can be fulfilled by the organization and ensure the fulfillment. Failure to do the same would affect organization’s reputation and further growth.
