The factors which should be evaluated to determine the
costs and benefits of providing family-style meal service in a
nursing facility are-
- Socio-
Economic condition of the Family- before determining the
cost and benefits of family style meal service atfirst we should
assess the socioeconomic condition of the family..
- Occupation-
It should important to know or assess the occupation
pattern of the family member..because occupation can effect the
socio-economic condition of the family..
- Religion-
Different people belongs to different religion have the
different kind of rituals in their dietary habit..so,It should
important to determine the religion pattern before determine the
health service pattern.
- Nutritional
Status- The nurse should assess the
nutritional status of the family ... by assessing the nutritional
status they can learn about the presence of any nutritional
deficiency related disease..( For ex- quashiorkor,Marasmas,Anemia
etc).and then meal sevice pattern should be determine on the basis
of these.
- Any history of
familial or congenital Disease- By taking of the
family history the nurse can learn about the presence of any
heredetery disease in the family (Like-Congenital heart
disease,Hepatitis B etc..) ..and on the basis of these they can
determine the meal service pattern of the family..
