Medical dominance is the traditional Organizing principle in the
healthcare system all over the world. The medical power is
Completed through the professional autonomy of doctors through
their unmatching role in the economics of health system and other
occupationtional groups.Its happen mainly by their Control
over
1. Administration
2. A Collective influence of medical associations.
3. Control over the allied health professions.
Feminist and Marxian theory of classes of labour shows the historic
reasons for this phenomenon.
Friedson in his professional dominance (1970) introduced the term
medical dominance.His four dimensions regarding this is
