How does timing affects patient
susceptibility?
Time plays an vital role in treating the patient,If the timing is not kept in a scheduled manner it may worsen the patient's condition. The following points expalins how timing affects the patients suspectiblity:
-If a patient enters the clinic,he/she should be analysed for the reason behind their arrival and they should be treated with preference according to that.
for example - Sara is 57 years old woman enters the clinic and meanwhile Kennedy, 24 year old man also enters. The nurse asks the reason for the arrival and Sara's problem was left arm and back ache as well as fatigue and abnormal heart beat,Kennedy's problemsevere haed pain with cold. After observing the reason ,the nurse treats Sara first and informs the Doctor about her condition because her symptoms ahows that she may experienced Heart attack. Here the nurse's timing played a important role in saving Sara,If she made her to wait to treat Kennedy who has minor problems compared to Sara. Her condition may get worsen and may lead to death.
-Drugs should be taken by the patients according to the scheduled timing or else the drug may loose its efficacy and also may lead to malfunctioning of the drug.
for example-Maria is 23 years old woman who sufferd with severe fever and diaherea.Doctor has advised to take antibiotics in the prescription. It is precribed to take Ciprofloxain (Cipro) after breakfast and dinner. But unknowingly Maria Skipped her after dinner dosage which may lead to the gap between the dosage.Which results in the extra timing for the curation of the disease.Because ,The serum eliminates half-life of ciplofloxain with normmal kidney function in approximately 4 hours. As she skipped her dosage gap occurs in the antibiotic reaction which leads to take time for the curation. As she missed her timing of intake of the tablets her curation time is extended.
-After showing symptoms of a particular disease, immediately go to the hospital.
for example-Clara is 62 years old woman who has a past medical history of COPD, Suddenly after a morning walk she experienced shortness of breath, tachycardia and continuous cough with phlegm. She tried to manage herself by by inhaling Bronchidilator. After which the she felt little comfortable but after a short interval of time she experienced with the same symptoms worsen than before and she fainted. After which she arrived to the clinic by arranging a ambulance by her children. The doctor has informed that she has passed away a 5 min before and highlighted a point that she would have been safed if she arrived after her first symptoms.Due to delaying,it leads to death of a person.
