Information governance is one of most important part of current health care system as it provides the employees baseline data for increasing work sufficiency , risk mitigation , reduce legal issues and maintain a clean and clear environment in the organization.

In health care system the concept of information governance makes the institution capable making making the sources of data , decrease mitgation and legal issues.

It also enhances the agency to give proper access to the proper person, eg, in the information governance the registered person is engaged to maintain all the records in the individual online id, where the chances of mitigation incresed and it will allowed the other professional working in the same organization is able to access the record and can do monitoring, feedback on client's condition. Hence the information governance is really essential for current healthcare system and needs.

Value-based healthcare is one of the recent healthcare framework for restructuring health care systems around the globe with the overarching goal of value for patients. It in mainly focused on the outcome basis care, it enhances the client's need and the reserve the client from extra expenditure.Value-based approaches to organizing care are widely touted as critical to improving the health outcomes of patients.Value-based health care's central tenant is that the overarching principle in redesigning health care delivery systems must be value for patients

There are few key points for the value-based care, like:

  • Organize Care Around Medical Conditions :Care delivery is organized around patients' medical conditions or segments of the population. eg, if we think about a population who are suffering from anemia ,then should not only treated for anemia , the population should be assesed for the root cause and prevention of causes and the promotion of the condition of the population. That will decrease the health cost.
  • Measure Outcomes & Cost for Every Patient :Outcomes and cost are measured for every patient. eg. if a patient is suffering from end-stage renal disease rather than doing the dialysis, transplantion is preferable as it will improve the lifestyle of the patient and reduce health cost.
  • Aligning Reimbursement with Value :Reimbursement models that reward both better outcomes and efficiency of care, such as bundled payments.
  • Systems Integration :Regional delivery of care organized around matching the correct provider, treatment, and setting. Eg. engangement of medincine specialist in the management of dermatologic case is unnecessary sometimes.
  • Geography of Care :National centers of excellence providing care for exceedingly complex patients.
  • Information Technology :An information technology system designed to support the major elements of the agenda.

So both of the information governance and value-based care is important for the today's health care system.
