Moral dillmas is a situaiton where person in between right and wrong. health care professionals should understand the values, beliefs, and health practice of diverse cultures to provide care according to their culture to diverse patient population. their different languages and customs differ with culture and ethnicity. As a nurse facing ethical dilemmas when caring for different cultural populations use culturally sensitive care to avoid ethical conflicts in cultural diversity. ethical decision making for a nurse is a multifaceted process that causes simple and complex professional issues.
Scenario: One of my friend working as a counselor in the rural community face ethical dilemmas when he handles the indigenous client. there will be a lot of ethical dilemmas arise due to their lack of skills, remote, rural geographic condition, socioeconomic disparities, and cultural difference to deal with their problem in a multicultural background. Indigenous people have different cultures with language and kinship structure the way they live. it causes moral dilemmas to deal with their problem forces to choose between making the right decisions ethically and following professional ethical guidelines. these barriers lead to serious miscommunication with an ineffective counseling session. because the indigenous group they will not accept the new culture, values, and beliefs, when they will unsatisfactory with the counseling and not willing to try the health care followup that causes harm to the client. Ethical dilemmas arise during this collaboration as a counsellor he serve effectively for the patient family in a multicultural context.
