Proper hand washing helps prevent the spread of infections. Unfortunately, "smart bugs" can still find alternate ways to invade the body. Some of these bugs are viral and some are bacterial. What is the difference?

1.Bacterial infection :Bacteria made of single cell living organisms they are diverse and large variety of shape grow on every conceivable environment including human body. Bacterial infection spreads from person to person who has a bacterial infection including touching ,contact with body fluids of an infected person particularly after sexual contact or infected person coughs and sneezing.

And also transmitted from mother to child in pregnancy or birth. It also spreads from an infected inspects.

Commom bacterial infections are tuberculosis, strep throat, cellulitis,urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, meningitis etc.

Bacterial infections are treating with Antibiotics.

2.Viral infection: Viruses are parasitic, they require living cells or tissue for growing.viral infections spreads from close contacting from a person with viral infection. Transmitted from body fluids of infected person. It also transmitted from mother to child during pregnancy or birth. Common viral infections are cold, chickenpox, influenza, HIV, Hepatitis, warts etc. Viral infections are treating with Antiviral therapy.

Bacteria are invades in body from increase the bacterial cell to our body with the help of body fluids, plasma, sugar, vitamins.symptoms occurred as diarrhoea, vomiting fatigue ,cramping etc.  

Viruses are invades in our body by using the components of our cells to grow and multiply by killing host cells. Symptoms occurred as common cold, high fever, influenza.

Antibiotics are necessary to treat the bacterial infection for keeping effectively growing and dividing of bacteria. High fever, symptoms last longer 10 to 14days.

When Antibiotics are over prescribing it can leads to resistance it may results in bacterial infection more difficult to treat.
