Insurance company is experiencing declining profits and customer complaints..explain need assessment utilizing organization analysis, task analysis, and person analysis. You are the HR manager..how will you implement each analysis?
To provide relevant training, a company should do training need analysis (TNA) for its existing employees. TNA helps to remove the challenges an organization will face like decline profits and increased customer complaints. As a manger HR, I will implement this analysis as follows,
At this stage, people will be given such training which will be required to accomplish the organizational goals and objectives. As a manger, I will make priorities of the organization in the next couple of years then I will analyse the required training needs to the people which will facilitate the goals of the organization.
2) Task analysis:
In this, I will find the components of each typical and complex job so as to remove the complexity by providing adequate skill training to the employees. It can be done by the personal interview of the employees, who might be facing some challenges into their job assignment due to lack of knowledge or skill gap. An employee survey might be useful to know the specific needs for the training and development. Team building and leadership assessment might be useful to know that people lacks these skills while working together on projects or not.
3) Person analysis:
As a manger, I will analyse the skills, knowledge and competencies of the existing staffs and employees. By this, it b can be identified that who will be requiring the training and who is not required such training. It will be save our cost, time and efforts. Even, people who have mastery on the skills for selling the insurance products they will be the resource person to train the new employees of the organization.
