Describe India's health related issues such as;
1. Hypertension
2. Diabetes
3. HIV/AIDS
India's public health challenges continue due to endemic
diseases like HIV, AIDS, tuberculosis, tropical disease, malaria,
communicable disease, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and lung
disease and disorder. Due to unhealthy risk factors like unhealthy
diet practice, lack of physical activity, lack of knowledge, and
use of alcohol and smoking, tobacco use increases the death in this
county.
Hypertension is the most important risk factor as a public health
burden on CVD. it increases the stroke rates and CVD death rates.
people unawareness about the disease and about risk factors
increase the HTN among individuals.
The increased mortality rate due to diabetes in India and poor
health care is one of the major diseases affecting 143 million
population worldwide. In India poor lifestyle practice, lack of
awareness, sedentary lifestyle, poor diet followup increased the
risk of diabetes. in India, a 5% population affected by the risk of
diabetes.
As per the world health organization, HIV is a major global health
burden, a 1.5million population diet from HIV related cause in
2013. India is the third-largest HIV epidemic in the world.
Transgender people with high-risk groups and vulnerable populations
(young adults between 15 to 49 years ) more prone to HIV infection.
HIV surveillance and intervention targeting risk groups. comparing
to other countries India has good progress in reducing new HIV
infection by half.
