For many years, the idea of universal health care is a top priority for many legislators or candidates. Spend some time RESEARCHING what this really means. What are the pros, what are the cons? I encourage you to look at salaries of insurance agency leaders, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. Do you know how much a broken leg would cost without insurance?
Include evidence and proven data to back up your opinions. Would Medicare for all be a good thing for our country? How do other countries fair with it? Why are so many for it and so many against it
UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE :
* A healthcare system which provides both health care facilities and financial protection to its members / public.
* Some countries conduct these kind of systems under government surveillance where as the other are privately managed by collecting insurance coverages and memberships.
* Whatever may it be , the motto of these systems is to make a citizen if country able to face health misiries without effecting by financial miseries.
* But that does not mean all the medical costs of any situation will be dealt by either government / third parties in our favour , but few kind of medical issues , costly issues etc are covered basing on policies memberships chosen.
PRO's and CON's :
Benifits / Pro's :
* It covers for various ill health issues , unexpected deaths due to ill healths and many other health related aspects. Thus it in a way provides financial security to patient and his people to support their situation to major extent.
* Countries like US , UK etc has develpoed government owned healthcare mechanism where countrywide people are expected to gain all the benifits equally.
* Also situations like dealing with fractures / accidents / major ailments / operations cost way higher costs if performed without any insurance coverage.
CON's / Disadvantages :
* All the health care units provide various tricky rules as per which many of the situations wont be covered.
* The programmes / care proposals which elevate higher commissions to Insurance agents will be promoted. Would like to enlighten the salary base for any insurance agents on this purpose.
i.e., A specific % of commission for number of members being included onto their insurance / health care system turns out to be major portion of salary to every agent.
* Thus the preview of any care scheme gradually turns as money making weapon rather a savior.
* Also Hospitals have started tie up with specific health care systems and institutions end up promoting only those schemes in their own benifits rather as per public needs.
* Unnecessary hospital charges increase is also being observed.
Any unit / scheme / system starts with good note and to let know people how can they gain in newer way initially. But in few cases, over the time the actual reason of poping it into the society gets vanished in the race of materialistic gains from it.
Various health care systems have evolved over time but real time benifit of the same lies in improving the quality of gains / favours that it can perform to public. We can't abruptly say that all health care systems are bogus but only 60% chances exist to follow on the positive side of it when needy situation arise.
Thus , those people who might have validly / invalidly formed part of the remaining 40% zone where they cannot experience expected benefits stand on the negative side in general. Also others with variois improvised thoughts stay this way.
But if the motto of health care system in achieved , tgen they always serve as added benifit to public.
