Counter the opposition’s argument

Solutions

Expert Solution

  • My position would be agreeing to this statement that" Decision making is best left to machines",as artificial intelligence can work with efficiency and speed.Bias due to emotions and feelings in decision making are avoided , machines can calculate the possibilities with accuracy and can reach to a conclusion with ease as compared to human intelligence.thus,an accurate and precise decision can be made. This saves time and energy

Counter argument (disagree)

Leaving decision making to machines is a great blunder ,as the domain of decision making is associated with new situations and problems that only human intelligence can tackle. The process of decision making in every day life is not the same as placing, shaping,or moving goods on a factory line.Novel situations need novel decisions which are far beyond the capability of any machine or artificial intelligence. Decision making in every day life is complex and cannot be compared to the fixed blocks or moves made in a digital chess game. The game of life far surpasses any board game which is the maximum manipulation possible for a machine, whereas ,in real life it's not manipulation that works, but, parameters associated with emotions , intuition and inspiration play a cutting edge role demolishing machine intelligence.
