b. If the authors of the study listed above wanted to expand their work to include humans, what mechanism is used to ensure that their study is ethical? Explain your answer in 2 sentences. (4 pts)
c. Is the paper that used Koch’s Postulates a primary article or a secondary article? Support your answer in 1 sentence, and then explain what would be needed for the other kind of article. (5 pts)
1.The above mentioned problem will be a causative study because in here Koch's postulates are used to connection between an organism and infection in parakeets. So the change in the organism can cause associated changes in parakeets. So this variable of changes in organism is causing an infection in parakeets.Realtionship here is of cause and effect. So it is a causative study.
2.The humans cannot be infected with disease causing microorganisms like mice experiments due to ethical reasons. So instead the microbionta that consist of the microbial colonies present in the organism these can be extracted from healthy and diseased organism and can be compared by various insilico method. They can be analysed by plating or by metagenomics study. The microorganisms which are benefical then can be injected to diseased individual and they should be isolated when that individual becames healthy.
3.It is a secondary article as here the Koch's postulate are further analysed and interpreted. The other kind primary involves the basic or primary research by the author and on the basis of its research the hypothesis gets set. This primary information is used in various fields thereafter,
