Solutions

Expert Solution

TRANSMISSION- Transmission is a process by which one act transfer to another, it can be a power through wire which is transfer from one source to others. Transmission can transfer from object to person, object to object or person to person. For example- a person is suffering from a disease, he can transfer it through sneezing to another person or when the electricity or power travels through wire to provide power to the machines.

REFLECTION- It is a process of an image or ray which bounce backs through a surface or mirror, its bends the image and thoughts of a person or a thing. It can be a sound also which bounces back through a surface. It can also be a thinking and opinion which reflects.

REFRACTION- Refraction is a deflection of light from one object to another. Under this the light changes its velocity when it transfers from one object to another. It changes its density also while travelling the light. For example when a light passes through the glass it changes the velocity and density of light. Basically it diverse and deviate the light.

DIFFRACTION- It refers to the wave which bends while passing through the obstacles around their path. Under the constructive interference the intensity of wave increase and under the destructive the intensity decreases. It can seen in the everyday life of a person, like CD and DVD.

Reflection and Refraction of Light In this activity, the properties of reflection and refraction of light will be explored. The simulation shows the light rays as they are incident on a medium interface (incident ray), the reflected from the medium interface (reflected ray), and refracted into the second medium after crossing the interface (refracted ray). Additionally the angles made by each of these rays with respect to the normal (vertical black perpendicular to the interface) are displayed as wedges in...
