Solutions

Expert Solution

Rapid industrialization was encountered in 1815-1850 US. Several factors sparked it; first, the market revolution enhanced the shifting from the agricultural-based economy, which provided wages to workers and facilitated goods and services. The inventions made hastened manufacturing example cotton gin by Eli Whitney increased cotton products due to the simplified labor force and reduced time spent in the sorting stage (Helsinger & Elizabeth., 2014). Advanced transportation means rods and rail enhanced transportation of raw materials to industries and finished products to various markets.

Second, southerners over-relied on slaves to support their economy as a labor source, while Northerners rejected political and social equality with Blacks. The two regions focused on control of slavery, with Southerners aiming to spread it while Northerners opposed continued slavery. The rapid development of industries affected American society in diverse ways; Americans converted handicrafts and agriculture-based economies into large-scale initiatives (Bensel & Richard., 2000). Additionally, machines were introduced, mechanization of enterprises to boost manufacturing, and innovative ways of organizing and alleviating standards to existing industries were considered more efficient and productive.
