Explain why medicare does not suffer from adverse
selection to the same extent as private non-group insurance.
It can be mentioned that adverse selection can effect when there is a difference of information between the buyer and the seller and in case of private non group insurance the Moto is to attain profit through insurance selling and that is the reason why the buyer might hide some of the clauses for differently so that the consumer buys but he wouldn't get benefited at times because of the the difference in information and this can lead to adverse selection but for Medicare the the Moto is entirely different and the aim is to provide insurance and healthcare to every person in this regard the transparency is a bit high as a result of which the information would be the same and this might not lead to adverse selection
