The other reason was Nationalist Movements, the nation combination of 15 radically different republics and some of them were not compatible with each other. Nationalist movements led to change in government in Poland and the movements rapidly spread to Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and the Soviet satellites in Eastern Europe. The allies were started to split which led to the separate movements in Belarus, Baltic States, and Ukraine. The power of the Soviet Union was starting weakening and the Soviet Union was completely demised by 1991.
