1.The child after hitting with a nail didn't wither out of pain rather continued to do his activity .This clearly indicates the nerves are damaged which has leaf to loss of sensation and this no feeling of pain. In simple the nervous system is affected .

2.Usually when there is a cut or injury the body reacts to it by releasing certain chemicals to the injured site and males one to perceive the pain. Until this chemical reaction occurs the pain cannot be felt. Here the child didn't cry immediately because of slower body reaction to a wound ,when the reaction occurred he shouted out of pain.
