Solutions

Expert Solution

1.The child after hitting with a nail didn't wither out of pain rather continued to do his activity .This clearly indicates the nerves are damaged which has leaf to loss of sensation and this no feeling of pain. In simple the nervous system is affected .

2.Usually when there is a cut or injury the body reacts to it by releasing certain chemicals to the injured site and males one to perceive the pain. Until this chemical reaction occurs the pain cannot be felt. Here the child didn't cry immediately because of slower body reaction to a wound ,when the reaction occurred he shouted out of pain. (Another thing to consider is the flush of adrenaline to the injured site makes a client not to feel pain because of the enthusiasm to do a particular task)

3.The reason behind this is simple ,he didn't drop the hammer until he felt the pain .When he felt the pain the reaction happened simultaneously by removing the hand and dropping the hammer .

4.The function of the calcium in these situations are

  • To maintain homeostasis
  • To aide in the remodelling of a repaired skin
  • The proliferation of the basal cells in the epidermis happens which increases the wound healing at the injured site .
