Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer:

There will be an increase in the total work hours of the employment to population ratio increases. Employment to population ratio tells the workforce population which is employed.

  1. The unemployment rate should go down because of this easy availability of job search. Job seekers will be able to find the job which will be most suitable to their skills. Also, it will be easy to find suitable employees as well for prospective employers.
  2. I do not think that the unemployment will be eliminated completely even if everyone has an access to monster.com. Unemployment means the workforce who want to work but does not have the job. It is possible that there is the unavailability of the job on the website or in the economy or people are not getting the suitable job. It also possible that the requirements of employer and job seeker are different like if there is a job available for the unskilled worker but the workforce is seeking the skillful job or vice versa then they will not be getting employed.
