What are some stakeholders viewpoint on the Healthy, Hunger- Free Act of 2010?
The society is all structured and most of the times few people have the advantage of having more wealth and have better access to food, shelter, education and medicine. Majority of the people live in disadvantaged conditions where they struggle to get the much needed basic amenities, especially nutritious food. This has caused many children, especially from the low income families to go without healthy food. This move from the government to provide funding for nutritious food will help lots of children who live under and near poverty line to receive adequate healthy food thus improving their physical wellbeing. This is a social justice initiative provided by the government because people live in poverty because of the oppression they faced from people in the upper class for a long period of time. It’s also really important to make sure the citizens of the country are healthy and contribute towards the development of self, family, society and the country.
