If all you had were the results from the RAND health insurance experiment, what policy recommendations would you make concerning the provision of health insurance? Explain. How certain would you be of your conclusions?
The RAND HIE has started it's survey from 1971 by a group led by health economist Joseph New house and by other researchers for the random study for the use of health insurance and it's overall cost effectiveness of opting the health insurance policy and how are that increasing the the effectiveness of the health an individual in US. RAND HIE has concluded that the health insurance without coinsurance leads to more people using services and to more services per users referring to the both outpatient and inpatient. Here those who do opt the free services are having more health coverage way than that of the those who are looking for the free of cost health insurance services. The survey summaries that the most of the individuals are covered by the employer insurance plans i.e. the corporate covers where they have no or minimum effect of health status.
As per my conclusion and understanding every person in family should be covered with the health insurance irrespective of age and dependency this will give problem free future and the cost of the medical expenses will lead to reduction, overall life expectancy will increase gradually.
