Define perception and why it is important? and Explain how attitudes influence behavior?

Perception is the process of recognizing & interpreting sensory stimuli. The insight or intuition gained by perceiving it varies from person to person as different people perceive different things about the same situation.
Moreover it is the awareness of the elements of environment through physical sensation.
Or
Perception is the awareness of something through the senses.
It can be affected by variety of factors as thinking, state of mind. Some drugs cause blurred vision and changes in color perception.
Perception allows us to take the sensory in order of meaningful fact.
The important of perception:
In the organizational point of view what matters the most the perception of employees means what they perceive about the organization.
Now days there are so many organizations working on employee relations as well as their organizational perception.
How attitudes influence the behavior:
Attitude is a feeling/beliefs or opinion regarding people, groups, ideas or subjects.
It influences the behavior of the individuals as it decides how to act in a particular situation.
The Attitude becomes the habit. In an organization if the attitude is good it will be better for a person. Behavior is the way a person responds to his attitude. This response is either positive or negative, depending on how that is reacted.
The successes & failures in life depend upon the attitude of the individuals.
