Three types of market rental for spaces: residential, retail and commercial rentals.
What's the difference and similarities of them, and which would be preferable under which circumstances?
Residential rental market refers to providing spaces and accommodation for residential purposes. This type of market is suitable when people wants to take the space for residential purpose and it is situated in a purely residential locality. Retail spaces are located in malls and near anchor stores. They are demanded primarily due to the large amount of foot traffic and visibility that it provides. Retail spaces are list out when the primary purpose of taking the lease is for selling goods. These are covered by retail acts.
Commercial space on the other hand is taken when the space is required to be used for business purposes has a warehouse or as an office with no retail activity. The location of commercial spaces is generally in a commercial building occupied by other commercial offices.
The primary differences between commercial and retail leases is that Retail lease legislation requires the landlords to provide a disclosure document and provide additional protection as regards the conduct of landlord. Also the location and purpose of leasing differ.
