This topic can be further analyzed using the questions below. Please share your opinions in the initial post and be sure to provoke a discussion with your fellow students (asking a question is an easy way).
· What are some of the ways the Internet can be used for education, entertainment, communication and business?
· Do you think that the Internet usage is an anti-social activity?
· Do you think the Internet is making people more impatient and that we are becoming a society where we all want instant satisfaction?
· Do you think governments have the right to censor the Internet?
The Internet has introduced improvements in technology, communication and online entertainment, but it is also incredibly useful for education purposes as well. Teachers use the Internet to supplement their lessons, and a number of prestigious universities have opened up free online lectures and courses to everyone. It has even allowed retired teachers to read to and educate children in poorer countries. Widespread use of the Internet has opened up a substantial amount of knowledge to a much broader range of people than ever before.
*Internet itself is neither. The Usage of Internet is a Real Matter. If we Use It as Positive. Like For Knowledge, and For Learning Some thing Etc . than it is Positive Social Activity. But If we Use It For Bad Things like, Games the destroy of Time, Films, Etc, than it s Anti-Social Activity.
*The internet is a medium for information, and humans are
hunters. We are hunting information, much like we used to hunt
animals for food. These days I can go to the store and just buy
meat and veggies. Voila... no need to hunt, so I'm left hunting for
other things... like answers to questions, or new questions to
ask.
There is a pleasurable satisfation from getting an answer, so I
keep looking for new questions and trying to find answers. It's
kind of like a drug. Finding answers to question is like getting a
high.
So the more we go, the more we want and as far as reality goes,
time is money! We want to know NOW! We have too. In certain
companies consultants are hired to answer question and paid quite
well for it, think tanks are hired and expected to produce results
fast.
I don't think the net has made us impatient, but it has made us
more aware of information and we want an answer now!

It should it needs to
Yes the government needs to censor the internet. The internet is one of the fastest growing tool. And anyone can have access and can post either good or bad things. And if government does censor or can reduce the chance of people seeing wrong thing from the internet.
