Peer review of an article is an essential part of the quality control to make a decision regarding accepting or rejecting an article. Peer review of an article is review of an article by many experts from the same field to verify the validity and acceptibility. In the peer review process the expert or the board of scolarly reviewers will review the material to check the adherence to the editorial standard of the journal also to check the credibility to pulblish the same.

The peer review is a long process. It takes a long time because there are few steps involved in this process. Usually when an article is submitted for publishing in a journal, the editorial borad will screen it and decide whether to send it for full peer review. When the initial sceening is done, the editorial board will send the article to one or multiple expert for their review. Once the review is done, the review reports need to be compiled and the editor then has to make a decision accordingly to publish the article.
