What are the differences between traditional diplomacy and new public diplomacy? (450 words)

Diplomacy is basically skills used to manage relations between countries Diplomacy is a political tool which is used to expand cooperation and positive relations among two or more countries and to resolve issues, conflicts, and clashes through diplomacy hanegotiations.

Traditionals more focus towards engaging the state actors and government officialsin diplomatic process. In this the issues are completely dependent on the decisions and activity of the government

Conversely, Public diplomacy is when a State seeks to foster positive cordial feelings in the public of another country in order to establish positive relationship amongst countries .Public diplomacy can also be regarded as an effort to win the hearts and minds of people of another country.

Traditional diplomacy does not involve and organisation or representative to improve relations amongst countries .it only allows government officials or department to resolve the issue .

Whereas , in public diplomacy active participations of organisations or individuals is initiated and used to resolve issue and maintain healthy relations .one example of this is media .media plays an active role in resolving disputes .

Traditions diplomacy is government related and government based relations , it is not affected by public .but in public diplomacy role of public is more as compared to traditional . It is used to win the hearts of people of other countries and make friendly relation with government as well as public.ITseek to foster the positive relations through incorporating media,, educationexchange programs, sports, and other mutual assistance programs.

Tradirional diplomacy is also called classic diplomacy whereas modern diplomacy is called contemporary diplomacy .

Modern diplomacy got it's birth from classic diplomacy . They both are supplementary to each other .traditional diplomacy is backbone of modern diplomacy .

Modern diplomacy is new evolutions of traditional diplomacy .it helps to maintain better relations between countries as compared to traditional diplomacy.  

Modern diplomacy also help in understanding culture , traditions of other countries and also improves travelling amongst countries and improves business relations also as compared to traditional diplomacy .it also gives birth to better friendly relations amongst peoples of different countries with each other .
