Yes,Washington DC is the proper capital of our nation.

United States of America being a capitalist country.More private controlled companies and less government control is prefered in US economy.There are many important cities in US like

New York,financial capital of US,as it remains the largest centre for trading in public equity and debt capital markets, driven in part by the size and financial development of the U.S. economy.

Los Angeles, capital for Film and television industry,as Hollywood and very important entertainment industry lies over here.

Las Vegas is famous for its vibrant night life and casino's and very exciting holiday destination.

Being US, diversified with at very places, Washington DC plays role as an Administration Capital of Us and very important role in World Politics and it often referred as Capitol.Washington DC is the hub of many political meetings and international organizations.

In economics perspective, US is mixed economy with market economy and free planned economy.free market decisions taken by rest of the country and government interference in market is very less.If Capital is in other places,maximum area was to be occupied by government instituitons and very less area is available for public and it will become more costly.this is very less productive and less economic transactions as per US.

In polity, public policies and political committies takes place in DC and economy should be affected by political stranga.political agitations and uprisings may affect day to day businesses.huge rallies,elections may affect in one way or the other.

Demographically it is accesible to everybody and maximum all states are connected.

As we can never say this capital is the proper capital for any nation, by checking all means we will decide which place is better for what that can be adminsitration,finance,entertainment etc. By taking best chances, Washington Dc can be considered as proper capital for our nation.
