Identify an individual currently on an intermittent fasting diet, another who is on a gluten-free diet, and someone else on the Paleo diet. Critically analyze their dieting experience(s) and compare/contrast them with your own. Evaluate each in light of the most recently known science and practical experience. Would you recommend any of these diets or any other structured diet to a future client? If so, list the diet and describe how would you determine its appropriateness for a client. If you would not recommend any of these or other structured diets, detail why.

Intermittent fasting diet is one kine of diets that can help people lose weight. When a person use intermittent fasting diet, he or she will fast 16 or 24 hours in a week. People who process intermittent fasting diet will start fasting after eating breakfast and lunch until next the following day breakfast or lunch. During the process of fasting, people cannot eat any food but they can drink water. There are three-point that people have to focus when they use intermittent fasting diet. First, People who process intermittent fasting diet must care about the nutritional balance. This is because the nutritional balance is important for people to keep healthy. Second, people cannot eat too much food after fasting. Lastly, people should avoid high intensity activities in the fasting day. Intermittent fasting diet can help people to decrease the risk of getting cardiovascular disease. In addition, intermittent can help people to increase insulin, which helps people against diabetes.

My own diet is similar to the bodybuilding diet that I eat meal in every 3 hours. Compared my diet and intermittent fasting diet, my own diet provides enough nutrition to keep the nutrition balance. Next, I absorb high calories from my diet that can help me gain weight. Also, my diet provides enough carbohydrates to me that I can perform high intensity activities. However, people who choose the intermittent fasting diet should take the vitamin pills to keep the nutritional balance. Next, after processing the intermittent fasting diet, people should not eat too much food. Also, a person who processes intermittent fasting diet does not recommend performing high intensity activities.

Gluten- free diet is another diet, which requires people to avoid any gluten.

Gluten-free diet is appropriate for people who have diagnosed celiac disease or allergic with gluten. People who choose gluten-free diet should avoid processed food. This is because most processed food contains grains. Gluten is a protein that the body requires every day. So, Gluten-free diet is not appropriate for people to lose weight. Also, gluten contains grains that can provide vitamins B1, B2, B3, E, and folate, along with the minerals iron and magnesium to people.

Compared my own diet and gluten-free diet, my own diet provides more carbohydrate. This is because grains such as oat, rice and others are the major source for me to fill the carbohydrate that I need daily. On the other hands, people who choose gluten-free diet have to choose another food to replace grains, which helps them take enough carbohydrates every day.

Paleo diet is a diet, which recommends people to eat vegetables, fruits, meets, animal organs and nut. Also, it requires people to avoid processed food, dairy products, grains and processed ingredients. People who choose paleo diet consider that modern diet harms people’s body and cause disease such as obesity, cancer and others. They prefer choosing natural ingredients as their food.

Compared my diet with the Paleo diet. In my diet, grains are the main source for me to take in carbohydrates that I need each day. Moreover, my diet can help me build my muscle. On the other hands, people who choose Paleo diet will use other ingredients to replace grains.

I would not recommend these diet and other structured diets to my clients except my clients have problem with gluten. This diet might not appropriate for people to maintain their nutritional balance. People can counsume the right amount of food and drink to maintain a healthy body weight when they eat a wide variety of foods. This is because they can absorb the right amount of fibre, vitamins and minerals from normal diet. However, some clients might have problems to absorb grains. In this situation, I would suggest my clients to choose gluten-free diet because this diet is a good for people who have diagnosed celiac disease or allergic with gluten. This diet is useful for these clients to lose weight and keep healthy. As a result, I would suggest normal people to absorb the right amount of nutrition form their diets, which help them, keep healthy and lose weight instead of using these diets or any other structured diet.
