Gluten free diet is not a good and healthy alternative for everyone because gluten is a protein that found on grains include wheat, barley, rye, cereal, oats. Pure oats do not contain gluten, oats become contaminated with wheat, rye, barley during milling process. The major role of protein provide a source of energy and synthesis of body tissue for growth, maintenance and repair. Collagen, hormone, enzymes, immune cells made of protein. Protein also help in transport of nutrients in blood and it also maintain nitrogen balance.

The simplest form of protein is amino acid. In gluten diet complete protein is present so it contain all essential amino acid to support growth and nitrogen balance.

In case of gluten free diet, lack in protein and nutrient. Poor nutrient in diet will frequently result in malnutrition. Incomplete protein present in gluten free diet will cause lack of indispensable amino acid ( amino acid not synthesized in body these need to be provided in food ).

Gluten free diet can taken only by person who has celiac disease which is intolerance to gluten result in accumulation of amino acid glutamine which is toxic to intestinal mucosa. In such case gluten free diet given, avoidance of gluten minimize risk of developing malignant lymphoma in small intestine.

Due to lack of nutrients and indispensable amino acid gluten free diet is not good and healthy for everyone.
