Part A and part B are often called original medicare-It gives coverage for inpatient hospital care,Hospice and home health services,Doctor and clinical lab services,Surgical fees and supplies etc.

Part C is often called medicare advantage plans-It gives coverage for getting part A and part B.

Part D is called prescription drug coverage_it is a stand alone plan or it may combined with medicare advantage plan.

3.Medicaid provides health coverage for some low income people,families and children,pregnant women,the elderly and people with disabilities.Medicaid is a program created by the federal government to provide payment for medical services for low income citizens.
