This dual expertise has provided Forbes to engineer industry- main systems that focus point is on the efficiency of energy, and want satisfying power management for various sectors like textiles, food processing, paper, power and chemicals. The company is engaged to make a successful work culture that uniquely puts the priorities of people.
Naushad Forbes is an Engineer and co-chairman of Forbes Marshall Company, in the middle 80; he had started working At Forbes Marshall Company. In his one article, he stated that the daily coming to the office at 7:30 didn’t work for him. He came in by 9 am or work in the office late evening. Then after realizing this he brought a concept of flexitime. This term is not heard in the manufacturing sector even today. The philosophy of this word is very simple and unique. Naushad Marshall stated in his statement that” we trust in controlling and managing our employees in the way we would like to be controlled or managed”. He come outs with the new initiative for their company as “Fun at work” team. The reflection of this was that the employees having fun at work people were happy and satisfied with the work environment and satisfied by physically or mentally because they got time for their families, friends and enjoy their personal life too because of the flexitime and two days weekend. They make a new team or introduced a new team in the company that always focuses on the health and wellness of the people because they didn’t want that people end up paying attention to their health because of the workload. In the office, common areas have highlighted with posters, stickers, charts of the healthy habits with the daily renovate on the intranet. The company also binds up with an organization that is ready to help them for the regular check- up of health and wellness of their employees and their families and provide them facilities of insurance and also arranged marathons last year for the people too well, and get moving. The Company’s average age has let fall to about 30. A large part of the workforce belongs to the second and third- generation employees. The people who joined as an intern are also with the company till now. Employees of the company have given positive reviews of the company that the work atmosphere is very motivating and encouraging for personal and official growth (Sangani, 2015). The Company also gives freedom to the employees of the company to do a mistake and learn and grow. Forbes in his article says that people stayed in the company for the long term because in the company there is no one to advise what to do or not. They have the freedom to work and space to figure out what to do or what not to do. There is also an all- women group called ‘Apna Adda’ which gives a platform to all the ladies to do a get- together and discussing every type of issues, whether in connection to their personal life or professional life. The company Forbes is an ideal for every organization, this company is very supportive to their employees whether it is financially or emotionally (Entropy). For example, if there is any untoward incident happens in the family of the employees then the company is ready to provide help give their spouse work and in case children are left with no parents then the company takes responsibility of the children and provide them better education and accommodation. Therefore, employee care grows and develops the future of the company.
