Therapeutic relationship is the relationship between an healthcare professional and client or patient.It is the way in which the therapist and the client engage with each other.

Factors that enhances therapeutic relationship are,

A.Build trust:- If there is good trust between healthcare professional and client,the client can share their problems freely and sincerely.

B.Create a safe and controlled environment: safety is a vital aspect in therapeutic relationship as it values clients experience and understanding. Sometimes a client may take multiple sessions, months to share their experiences.so the therapeutic relationship should never go too fast.

C. Empower the client: Respect the client's right to not share details and their problems that they don't like to share at a particular time.

D. Clients strength and skills: Inform the client that severity of symptoms may vary through out the therapy. Try to develop a good emotional and coping skill in the client for therapeutic purpose.

E. Honour the meaning and function of client experience: Always be curious about the client's experiences and their feelings
