If Google's 2006 entry into the Chinese search engine market was a good (or bad) philosophy based decision, is withdrawal necessarily a bad (or good) decision?
Googles entry into Chinese market is a good decision as it is worlds larget search with 2/3 of world population is using Google. In 2006 when Google wanted to enter to Chinese market it seek the permission from Chinese government where they kept some restrictions and limitations for approval of Google search engine like cnesorship of internet searches and some more restrictions where Google agreed to enter the market and became the second larget search engine in china.
In 2010 after 4 years Google made an announcement of stoping censorships on it chinese search engine as Google says that limitations and restriction of Internet usage is not ethical as it is like running under government and obeying to publish what the Government likes and there are many cyber attacks on google which source is from china for this attacks. Thus Google is company which runs on motto wanted to quit the market even it knows that it will loose a large revenue.
This a good decision for standing up to the motto what the company beleives where many companies dont even have ethical values. Google some what made this decision and once again proved the world that business is always done on ethical values in Google rather than revenue basis.
