  1. 4. My friend’s daughter was contacted by her landlord. He is lowering her rent 75% during the pandemic---but she has to pay the remainder back LATER. This sounds very generous, but, long term, how does this change the issue? 5. WHAT IS THE ISSUE HERE? IF A PRICE FREEZE IS NOT A GOOD IDEA IN THE LONG TERM, THEN WHAT SPECIFIC ACTIONS WOULD YOU TAKE IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF TENANTS? WHY?

4) In the case the the landlord posponded the payment of rent to the future due to the current economic situtation. The pandemic COVID 19 spread all over the world. which thereby resulted in the ecnomic crisis of differewnt countries. Thus people has no money with them. tenant are not economically stable because they have lost thier jobs and there is no other source of income for them. So all the landlords , banking institutions etc has given moritorium to the people in the short term sence it is seem good to the common people. But in the long term aspect is becomes a burden to the poor people. As we know in the current situation we cannot predict what hapopens the next. whather the economy comes in a stable position or whather there will bew jod oppurtunities in the future these factors remains as a big question in future.

In the above situation the landlord lowered the rent rate to the tenant. But the only condition that he put forward is that he has to pay the amount laterthis offer has a negative effect on tenant in long term. It is a serious issue that he need to face in the future. Thus price freeze is not a good idea in long term. From the view point of landlord to avoid the rent is also a major problem that he faces . So the best solution for this problem is that landlord has to lower the rent by 90% in each month. and avoid the payment of remaining 10% for tenants. I fthe landlord doso he has to face a loss of just 10% and long term burden of the people can be eliminated. In the current situation the 10% will not be a big loss to landlord. because every men in the economy is facing crisis in ine or the other way. thus in my personal opinion it is a good idea when we consider future aspects too.
