In a standard deck of 52 cards, a card is chosen at random. What is the probability of choosing an ace card or a black card?
Given total number of cards = 52
Number of black cards ( including 2 ace cards) = 26
2 more ace cards now left among red cards.
So number of possible events choosing an ace card or black card = 26+2 = 28.
Therefore, Probability of choosing an ace card or black card
= Total possible events/ Total number of cards
= 28/52
= 7/13
Probability of choosing an ace card or a black card= 7/13
