Prisoner's Dilemma is one of the good way to study international relations.Basically prisoner's dilemma is one of the most cited way in the field of game theory which help to understand economic, politics, elections crime as well as behavior in business or among individuals.First we understand about the Prisoner's Dilemma it is one type of game which we can understand as a two person game where the outcome depends on both the person.As in this strategies come in two type pure and mixed strategy.Pure strategy arise choice for a player and a mixed strategy which use a particular probability distribution to select one pure strategy from among a subset of a player.

In International relations terms the state exist in a absence of government which are the only body responsible for their own protection.Example of prisoners dilemma in international relation is trade agreement in which two nation can get benefit by working together and signing the agreement.If one nation can cheat and receive more benefit at the cost of other, so second nation also have the same option to do the same.They can cheat on the agreement and get more benefit, but if they both cheat they both do very poor and due to this international trade negotiations are often tense and difficult.
