Molecular oxygen
Bacteria on the basis of respiration which they carry out or divided into two categories, aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria. Aerobic Bacteria is the one which performs respiration in the presence of Oxygen and anaerobic bacteria is the which performs respiration in the absence of oxygen.
Carbon, glucose, ATP and organic compound always required by all the types of bacteria whether aerobic or anaerobic to undertake cellular respiration.
