Using the Action Planning template (Task 3) and relying on the current mission and vision in the strategy of an organization of your choice (your employer or your own perhaps), design an Action Plan (different from the one you had prepared as a course assignment) with a minimum of 2 or maximum of 3 activities and provide a 1-2 paragraph accompanying narrative which describes these activities and the rationale for the importance of this AP to the overall organizational strategy.
Let us take into consideration of an action plan of “increasing sales of the X Company”. Activities that are required to be performed to execute the formulated action plan is:
1. Create an effective advertisement
In order to increase sales of the company, it is very essential to create an effective advertisement that could make the customers aware about the product and could help them in determining what benefits they can derive by purchasing the products of the X Company.
2. Conduct market research
This activity is very important and should be performed with high level of integrity in order to increase sales of the company. This activity involves defining the target market, identifying the needs of the customer and demand of the customer.
3. Make sales strategy
This activity helps company in making the optimal strategy so as to increase the sales of the product.
This action plan is of utmost importance for the organisation as it would increase the overall market share of the company and will help company in generating higher revenues from the sales of the product.
