Afrocenrism: A scholarly movement that seeks to conduct research and education on global history subjects, from the perspective of historical African peoples and polities. It takes a critical stance on Eurocentric assumptions and myths about world history, in order to pursue methodological studies of the latter.
Diaspora: A scattered population whose origin lies in a separate geographic locale. Historically, the word diaspora was used to refer to the involuntary mass dispersion of a population from its indigenous territories, in particular the dispersion of Jews. In simple words, Jews living oustide Palastein or mordern Israel.
Ethnocentrism: A belief that one's culture is superior to all other cultures.It is a term used mostly in social sciences in reference to the act of believing that one's culture is superior to all other cultures.
Eurocentrism :It can be defined as a phenomenon which observes and interpret other cultures and histories of the world in a western or European perspective.
Marxism: A method of socioeconomic analysis that views class relations and social conflict using a materialist interpretation of historical development and takes a dialectical view of social transformation. It originates from the works of 19th-century German philosophers Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels and they are considered as the father of marxism.
