Solutions

Expert Solution

We can improve health economics by doing/implementing below things in the given country.

By creating health centres at all levels (Village, town, big city, state capital)

We/Government can create Primary health facilities at village level and further to provide free health check up, medicine for not so major diseases and general medical tests.

In small towns also similar kind of set up as discussed above can be set up in order to cater larger population of the small town than village.

Big city- In big cities a full fledged government run free hospital system which has all modern facilities, i.e. modern medical equipment, all advanced medicines, large bedding facility for hospitalisation and where all types of simple and sophisticated surgeries can be performed and doctors strength should also be at appropriate level.

In state capitals also hospitals with big facilities than above type of hospitals should be provided in order to cater patients as well as it's main focus should be on imparting medical education and medical research and innovation.

Finamcial support to medical research- Financial support to medical research done by pharma companies as well as private medical researchers should get more focus in order to find remedy to major ailments/illnesses as well as medical treatment should be made affordable to needy one by governmeng intervention.

Drug price regulator- we should establish drug price regulator in order to control pharma companies to charge exorbitant prices to patients and should restrict a limit on profit of pharma companies.

Health policies should be made mandatory to be given by companies operating in the given country in order to secure health of the all the company's employees and this will give a sense of health security to all employees.

Conclusion- It is very necessary to implement above measures in order to improve health economics in the given country and without the same health situation of the given country cannot be improved.
