The approach I would like to follow is to introduce a reward and recognition session every month. This will help the employees to share their experience and ideas with the other employees about how they have performed and achieved recognition from the store. Sharing such knowledge and information among the employees will help to improve the operation of the store. Apart from these, many other approaches may be followed like birthday celebrations, annual picnic for the employees, knowledge sharing session on a weekly basis, etc. But I consider rewards and recognition session to be the most effective in motivating the employees towards building a better business in future. The series of actions required for developing a plan for implementing a rewards and recognition session will involve:

  1. Deciding the criteria to be eligible for the rewards
  2. Setting the targets for the employees for different levels of rewards
  3. Deciding the budget for the rewards
  4. Setting the agenda to be discussed during the reward session

Please give likes for the work. Thanks & Regards.
