Ravi was 20 when he completed college .He felt that the his life was set and he would get a job immediately once he completed.he was a gold medallist ,a topper in class,thought of himself as a very intelligent person. He had to attend the first interview for his job. He was very confident he would get the job. As he was being interviewed he could not answer most of the question asked by the interview panel. The questions were basic general knowledge questions and situation analysis . he was rejected to his dismay he walked out ,could not accept his defeat.The environment he was in just catered to improve the bookish and subject knowledge but did not gear him up to face the outside world.this is one of the experiences adoloscents face as they enter int adulthood.

Sheila was brought up in a very happy home. She had everything she could ask for. A wonderful job,good salary,and the life was just perfect. As per the indian custom,the topic of marriage had come up as she was 21 and settled in a job, her parents looked for prospective groo. Sheila accepted and was married. The whole scenario had changed,she was on her own, had to take decisions based on her husband and family. She had to give up her current job as her Parents in law were not in support. In this case sheila had n idea about the implications of marriage,what marriage is all about,is marriage all about sacrificing to make others happy? Many adoloscents are facing this challenge as the maturity level is not there to face different situations..

Asish belonged to a rich family and no problems were money is concerned. he felt he could buy anything in exchange for money .It was ill fate his father expired and all the family burden was on him. He had to shoulder responsiblity of his family by working.He could not accept the defeat,resorted to alchohol and drugs,in bad company. He is in Rehab and will take a while for him to return to resume his life. Many adoloscnence fall into prey of substance abuse as they think it is an escape to their problems
