The article approaches the issue of student loan with multilple perspectives. Over the years student loans have significantly increased and this has created lot of pressure on the labor market as well. We see that statistically a student with a degree is likely to earn a million more than an individual who only has high school qualification. However, this fact does not necessarily justify the rising cost in the college market. With the advent of better technology and as more of the labor becomes automated colleges need to adpat and change with the sytem. But such an approach is rarely seen aon behalf of the colleges and is concerning. Students have often cited that the experience can feel more enriching if they are allowed to apply the knowledge through working in internships and other types of field work. It is high time that universities look into the matter and make eduaction more holistic.

Along with this the governemnt funding and a management of college fees has certainly been questionable. The author rightly states that there needs to be a balance between how much the goverment is funding and how much the institutions are charging as college fees. Or else students will fall into a vicious cycle and be subject to more exploitation and result in insurmooooountable debt. To stimulate growth government has to come with better policies which make the right trade-offs in the overall interest of the economy.
