Applied behaviour analysis is a discipline in which techniques are developed withthe application of behaviour change with the help of learning as well as application of new behaviour and corresponding them with significance of the social sense. This is one of the forms in which behaviour analysis is presented in the applied form. In applying behaviour analysis, there occurs assessment of the situation and the behaviour of the person followed by trying to make changes to the behaviour with reference to the environment. Here, socially acceptable behaviours are tried to be added in the existing behaviour of the person, such a constructive behaviour would be developed.
There were many areas where applied behaviour analysis can be extended to areas such as autism, HIV prevention, language acquisition, psychotherapy, medical procedures, substance abuse, parenting, phobias etc.
