background:In the early 1990,chagas disease was ranked as a most serious parasitic disease in Latin America.the insect vectors are called trypanosome bugs.there blood sucking bugs get infected ,by biting an infected animal or person.chagas disaese also known as American trypanosomiasis.

Incidence: today,as estimated 11 million people in 15 Latin American countries are infected with chagas disease.the disease also plagues northern south America,central America,mexico.
