o This Second Principle concentrated on balance. He understood that a general public couldn't evade imbalances among its kin.

o Imbalances result from such things as one's acquired attributes, social class, individual inspiration, and even karma.

o All things being equal, He demanded that an equitable society should discover approaches to diminish disparities in territories where it can act.

o private enterprise looks for uniformity of chance, with the goal that the individuals who can possibly be most gainful can in certainty succeed. However, riches is opportunity, as per Haslett, and inheritance clearly makes enormous contrasts in riches.

o many consider opportunity to be being the most significant perfect of free enterprise.

- Haslett recommends that while conventional little blessings ought to be permitted, huge endowments and inheritances ought to be made illegal.
